CARE Interntional in Cambodia is a humanitarian aid organization working in partnership with vulnerable individuals, households and communities to identify and address the root causes of vulnerability and poverty. CARE also works to strengthen community and government capacity to create an environment that empowers people, reduces risks, increases opportunities and promotes sustainable development.
With funding support from the Center for Disease Control Atlanta, CARE is implementing the Avian Influenza Community Risk Reduction through Surveillance and Response Project to reduce the vulnerability of targeted groups in Koh Kong, Ratanakiri and Phnom Penh to the AI epidemic. |
