>> How can I access CambodiaWorks to search for information?
  First, you need to register for an account with us. On the homepage, go to Find Jobs, you will see Register link at the bottom of the page. Once the "Enter the Registration Information" page appears, fill out the form as requested. Make sure you select the correct identity, i.e. either Job Seeker or Employer. Then click "Submit Information". After seeing the message "Welcome to CambodiaWorks.com", you can immediately start the tour with the username and password just created. .

>> I forgot my username, how can I retrieve it?
  We always take cautious measure to protect our customers. To retrieve your username, from the homepage, click on "Post Resume". Once the “Enter Your Logon Information” page appears, click Forgot Username. On the following page, enter your email address and then click on Submit Search. You can now check your email inbox for your username.

>> How can I modify my account information (email address, phone number, etc.)
 
  1. On the homepage, click on “Post Resume”.
  2. On the navigation bar, click “My Profile”, sign in with your registered username and password.
  3. Re-enter your password to access the “Update Your Account Profile” page.
  4. Make any modifications you desire.
  5. Finish by clicking “Update My Account Profile”.

Your information in our database has been updated.

>> Somebody used my account to access CambodiaWorks. What should I do?
  In this case, please immediately change your password in the “My profile” area. When the “Update Your Account Profile” page displays, look for Password and Confirm Password fields, simply enter your new password into these two fields.

Our system will then send you an email confirming the new password. Make sure you always keep your account information in a safe place.

>> How do I search for my preferred job on CambodiaWorks.com?
  On the homepage, specify one or more keywords that you expect to see in your preferred jobs. From the In menu of the Quick Search, select the relevant category, and then select the Location to refine your search result.

When the Logon request screen displays, please enter your username and password to access the search results.

Besides, you can also search for jobs by category, or refine your job search result

>> How do I search for jobs by category?
  When you are sure about what industry you want to develop your career in, you can save time by scrolling down to the lower part of the CambodiaWorks homepage and click on the desired category. Job listings in that category will be displayed with 25 items on each page. The Detail link leads you to further information about a particular job.

You can also search for jobs by keyword, or refine your job search result

>> How do I refine my search result using Advanced search tool?
  Sometimes the search result seems go beyond what you want. Then, try Advanced Search.
  1. On the homepage click on any job category at the lower part”.
  2. On the next page, click on Advanced Search link.
  3. Study the Advanced Job Search page, specify appropriate keywords and other values.
  4. Finally, click on Search for Matching Jobs.

>> How can I track job listings for use at a later date?
  Job Tracker helps mark certain jobs for future retrieval. This is quite useful when you want to group several jobs for further exploration before deciding to apply.

To track a job(s), while viewing a job list you can check the box(es) positioned in between Date Posted and Details columns.

Or if you are in the job detail page, you can check the Job Tracker box, which is placed at the upper right-hand corner.

In both cases, don’t rush to move to other step until you see a confirmation screen pop up.

Each tracked job lasts for only 30 days.

>> How can I apply for job posted on CambodiaWorks.com?
  If you are interested in the job listing you are viewing, just click on at the top or the bottom of the page. You can either choose to forward your resume information reserved on our system, as appears in the body of the automated application email, or attach your revised resume in .doc format. Make sure you are designing the best application to win the employment.

>> How can I view all job vacancies of a certain employer?
  If you want to see what is available in a certain company, you can click on its logo in the Featured Employers in Cambodia section, then click View Current Vacancies to have them all displayed.

You can also click View all jobs posted by this user while navigating a job detail page to acquire the same result.

>> What are featured employers?
  These are companies with frequent high demand for knowledge workers, who pay to have their logos listed on CambodiaWorks homepage so that they can attract the most traffic to their job listings. Since their attitude is not to say no to talent, you can send them your application anytime.

>> Why are some jobs highlighted bold and/or red?
  It’s hard for web browsers to pay equal attention to every single job listing in a huge pool. That’s why those companies with urgent demand usually pay to have their jobs highlighted, making them stand out from the rest.

>> Why are some jobs listed at or near the top of the list even though they are not new?
  In the job search result screen, you usually see jobs sorted in the reverse chronological order, however some at the top are older than those in the middle. This is another way for employers to promote their job listings.

>> I found some job listings are no longer vacant, why are they still on CambodiaWorks?
  Our charge for job listing is based on monthly basis. Therefore, most employers pay to advertise their vacancy for at least one month. During the course, they might find some suitable candidate to fill the post.

To avoid the mishap, you are advised to stay up-to-date with job openings. One good way is to sign up for our Job Alert and Newsletters for free.

>> How do I post my resume on CambodiaWorks?
 
  1. On the homepage, look for the Post/Edit Your Resume icon at the upper left-hand corner.
  2. Enter your username and password to log in. If you haven’t registered, click Sign up. Follow all the stages until you see the “Welcome to CambodiaWorks” page. Now, back to step 1.
  3. Click on Create New Resume.
  4. Select up to 10 job categories you prefer, then choose “Create a new resume” to proceed.
  5. Carefully study all fields. Make sure every one of your choices is the best representation of yourself and what prospective employers are looking for. If you are not sure, visit our Career Advice first.
  6. If everything is satisfactory after previewing your resume, choose “Post My Resume.”
  7. Check your email, click on the provided link in our confirmation email to add your resume to our database. This is designed to make sure no one is using your email address to sign up.

After 12-24 hours, our admin person will approve your resume and post it online. Now you can move ahead with interview preparation!

>> I’ve just posted my resume on CambodiaWorks, but it is no where to be found.
  There can be several causes for this. Internet connections can be unstable, especially when you are accessing CambodiaWorks at an Internet café. If you are not directed to a page confirming that you have posted resume(s) on CambodiaWorks, your information has not been recorded correctly. Please start over again.

This problem can also occur when you have not clicked on the provided link in our confirmation email, which is sent to your inbox a few minutes after you have posted your resume(s). Check your email again.

In case you cannot find our confirmation email in your inbox, look for it in the Bulk (Spam) folder. Make sure you move it to your regular Inbox so that next time you can immediately access our emails.

  In many cases, you don’t want your current employer to know you are seeking for other opportunities. CambodiaWorks has designed a tool for you to keep your name and address confidential. While filling out your resume, just check the box CONFIDENTIAL at the very top.

>> I mistakenly posted my resume in the wrong jobs category. How can I correct it?
  Many times, a local Cambodia mistakenly posted his/her resume in the Expat section or a new grad mistakenly posted his/her resume in Executive section. If this is your case, please correct it, otherwise your resume won’t pass our approval gate. To do this, please Delete it and post a fresh one.

Likewise, if you want to change the job category in your resume, please Delete the old resume and post a fresh one.

Next time, take a cautious look when choosing job categories in the resume building process.

>> How to upload my photo to my resume?
  Attaching a photo to your online resume does a big help in marketing yourself to prospective employers.

After having posted a resume on CambodiaWorks, you will receive “CambodiaWorks.com Email Address Confirmation” email. Click on the provided link to have your resume added to our database for approval.

You will then be directed to the confirmation page, allowing you to Get Your Resume Noticed or Upload Photo to Your Resume. Browse to your photo on your computer and then upload it.

To make sure you don’t upload the wrong picture, our admin team will screen and approve your photo. When recruiters view your resume, your smiling face will make a big difference.

>> How can I view my resume with my photo attached?
  You surely want to view your resume the way employers see it. On the home page, click on Post/Edit Your Resume icon at the upper left-hand corner then sign in to navigate to the resume management page. Click on the View link to see your resume together with your photo if you have uploaded any and it has been approved.

>> How do I renew/modify my resume?
  Even after being posted online, your resumes are still under your control.
  1. On the homepage, click on “Post/Edit Your Resume” at the upper left-hand corner for job seekers.
  2. Enter your username and password to log in.
  3. On the resume management page, click Edit link to change your resume as you desire.
  4. Finish by clicking Submit Modifications button.

The posted date of your modified/renewed resume will be the date of modification. Therefore, by being frequently renewed, yours will be listed above other built-then-left resumes.

>> How do I delete my resume?
  Removing your resume from CambodiaWorks database is not a good move, even if you have won an employment, since a better opportunity might suddenly come up at a later date. Nevertheless, if you still wish to delete it, please follow the below steps:
  1. On the homepage, click on “Post/Edit Your Resume” at the upper left-hand corner for job seekers.
  2. Enter your username and password to log in.
  3. On the resume management page, click Delete link.
  4. On the next page, click on Submit Deletion button.

>> How do I sign up for Job Alert?
  You can do it either way:

I. After having successfully registered with CambodiaWorks, the Welcome page will display to invite you, among other things, to Create Job Alert. Click on it, and then continue with steps 4 and 5 prescribed below.

II. If you visit CambodiaWorks at a later time:

  1. On the homepage, click on “Get Job Alerts” at the upper left-hand corner for job seekers.
  2. Enter your username and password to log in.
  3. Click on Create New Job Alert(s).
  4. Specify keyword(s), select appropriate job category(ies).
  5. Finally, click on Send Me Matching Jobs.

>> How do I edit or delete my Job Alert?
  If at any times you want to try a new job function or challenge yourself in a new industry, you may need to edit or delete the job alerts you have signed up for before.
  1. On the homepage, click on “Get Job Alerts” at the upper left-hand corner for job seekers.
  2. Enter your username and password to log in.
  3. Click on Edit or Delete as appropriate.
  4. On the next pages, do as instructed to get it done.

You can also browse for the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the Job Alert email and click it.

>> How can I receive the latest jobs together with useful career tips?
  Generally, if you register with CambodiaWorks, you will automatically receive our newsletters. If not, you can proceed as such:
  1. On the Homepage, scroll down to the bottom of the page
  2. At the left-hand side, enter your email address, and then click “Sign Up.”
  3. You will be directed to the "List Signup" page.
  4. Fill out the form and click on "Subscribe" to finish.

>> How can I stop receiving newsletters?
  CambodiaWorks offers users free newsletter to best support their job search and keep them updated with latest news in the human resources market. However, if you prefer to visit our website for the information, or you have won a great job and want to concentrate on developing yourself, follow the below instructions:
  1. Open a newsletter that we had sent to you, scroll down to the bottom of the page.
  2.  Look for “To unsubscribe: click here” and click on “click here”
  3. On the "List Update/Unsubscribe" page, click the icon “Unsubscribe Completely.”

>> How can I acquire more information on the jobs listed in the newsletter?
  To provide you with the most jobs, we only brief them in the newsletter. To further study the job of your interest:
  1. Click on the Detail that appeals to you.
  2. As the logon screen displays, enter your username and password. If you can’t read Cambodia, change language to English to log in.
  3. To view details of other jobs in the newsletter, back to the newsletter in your inbox, simply click on the appropriate Job Title.

In case you have not registered, click on the Sign up icon when the Logon page displays. Fill in the relevant information to get an account to proceed.

  Right after you have registered with CambodiaWorks (click here to learn how), you can post a job online.
  1. Click on Post/Edit Your Jobs icon on the upper right-hand corner for employers.
  2. You will be requested to log in. Enter your username and password.
  3. Click “Create New Job”. Fill in your job information. Please keep in mind that, the more detailed your job is, the more attractive it is. Don’t loose a single chance to promote your company’s image.
  4. After previewing the job, click Post My Job to have it added to our database.
  5. In our confirmation email sent to your inbox, double check the information. If everything is satisfactory, please make payment accordingly.
  6. Upon receipt of your payment, we will post your job(s) online.

>> How do I view, renew or modify my job on CambodiaWorks.com?
  A clear benefit of posting jobs online is that you can review/modify your job anytime, anywhere.
  1. On the Homepage, Click “Edit Your Job” at the upper right-hand corner for employers.
  2. Enter your username and password to log in.
  3. Click Edit link next to the job you want to review/modify.
  4. On the next page, make any modifications as you think necessary
  5. Finally, click “Submit Modification.” All modifications have been online now.

  If you are time-strained, you might prefer having someone else post the jobs for you. Just contact our sales team at sales@cambodiaworks.com or call 855 - 23 987 049/69 for help.

The great thing is that you won’t loose the chance to review/modify your job anytime, anywhere. Just contact the salesperson in charge for the username and password to do that.

  CambodiaWorks possesses the largest and the best resume database in Cambodia. By paying a negligible fee, employers can instantly find the best candidates.
  1. On the homepage, click on Search Resumes icon at the upper right-hand corner.
  2. When the Search Resumes page appears, specify one or more keywords that you expect to see in the sought resumes in the Keyword box.
  3. From the In menu, select the relevant category, and then select the Location to refine your search result, finish by click Search, the result page will display, with a maximum of 25 hits each page.
  4. To view a resume in its whole, click Detail link. Enter your username and password to get full access.

3. Resumes posted in that category will be displayed, with 25 items on each page and the newest at the top.

  When you want to seek for resume by date:
  1. On the homepage, click on Search Resumes icon at the upper right-hand corner for employers.
  2. When the Search Resumes page appears, look for Search Resumes by Date. You can view all resumes posted during the last 7, 14 days. Click either link.
  3. Resumes posted during that chosen period will display, with 25 items on each page and the newest at the top.
  4. To view a resume in its whole, click Detail link. Enter your username and password to get full access.

  Sometimes the search result seems go beyond what you want. Then, try Advanced Search.

  To assist those employers with frequent recruitment demand, CambodiaWorks has designed a powerful tool, which automatically forwards all newly posted resumes to the registered email addresses.
  1. On the homepage, click on “Search Resume” at the upper right-hand corner for employers.
  2. Enter your username and password to log in.
  3. Click on Resume Alert on the navigation bar.
  4. Next, click Create New Resume Alert(s). Specify keyword(s), select appropriate resume category (ies).

Finally, click on Send Me Matching Resumes.

If you ever want to edit an old Resume Alert, go through the same stages. On the management page, click Edit/Delete as you desire.
